Jacques, I think it's time you add the netmask feature for aliases, as in
2.0.x kernel you can easily access a list of aliases (each alias IS an
interface), you can patch (Bad Idea (TM)) scripts, but in 2.1.x kernels, each
interface has a list of address/netmask pairs and patching is not so
trivial...
