I have the same problem. The advice I got from Michael K. Johnson and
Jacques Gelinas was to try each of the following commands to see where
the problem lies:
# ldd /usr/bin/gnome-linuxconf
# /usr/bin/gnome-linuxconf localhost
# remadmin
What I find is that gnome-linuxconf gives the following errors:
/usr/bin/gnome-linuxconf: error in loading shared libraries
/usr/lib/libgnomeui.so.0: undefined symbol: GTK_TYPE_GDK_COLOR
I would guess that the problem is that we both upgraded to gnome 0.30
and something changed in the library. I imagine that the solutions
are to either reinstall the older libgnomeui, or to recompile
gnome-linuxconf. Or wait till a new compatible version is released.
When I find the right answer I will try to add it to the new on
pythonified FAQ.
