Ok, maybe this has been posted to the list already and I missed it.

I am running RedHat 5.1 here, and upgraded from Linuxconf 1.13 to
1.13r1, using the RedHat 5.1 RPM's. Since the upgrade, I noticed that I
am now getting the Linuxconf boot menu (I wasn't prior to upgrading).
That's okay - the bad part is that even if "Text Mode & Network" is
selected, the system comes up in xdm - i.e. Runlevel 5 instead of
Runlevel 3!

I verified that in the Linuxconf Control Panel, the default boot mode is
set to "Text Mode & Network", and I made sure that was what was selected
when it came up. I tried letting it time out, and actually selecting it.
Doesn't matter. I come up in X, which is NOT what I want.... (xdm
doesn't let me start KDM, and seems to restrict me to fvwm95 - but
that's a different story).

I noticed that any manual selection at the boot menu prompts for the
root password too - but I've already seen that posted to the list. Is a
fix coming in the next release?

Thanks!
