Yes yes yes. The current plain simple HTML approach has the virtue
that it works in *any* browser... that matters.

The problem with this approach is that it sets interface style (plain
or fancy HTML) per *machine*. I would prefer to have a way for the
user to choose the fancy interface when the user knows they have a
browser that can handle the fancy stuff (or have it select based on
what browser is detected, if you want to get clever).
A single machine may be (theoreticalluy) admined from a nice fancy
fast new machine with NetScape 4.5 at work, and from an old slow 4MB
386SX16 running Lynx at other times. It would be good not to assume
that a given server is managed exclusively either from nice shiny new
fast machines or from older ones.
