Tried to upgrade to linuxconf-1.13r10-1. I have just installed to the
boxed version of Redhat 5.2, and understood that the upgrade would get rid
of the error
> <<Missing information about daemon or utility makemap in configuration
> file
> /usr/lib/linuxconf/DIST/conf.daemon.

I tried the command:
rpm -U linuxconf-1_13r10-1_i386.rpm

and got the error:

unpacking of archive failed on file
/usr/lib/linuxconf/help.sk/linuxconf-msg-1.1
3r10.sk: 1: No such file or directory

Now linuxconf gives the following error when I try to start it:

 Incompatible module /usr/lib/linuxconf/modules/treemenu.so.1.12.5
get a new one or recompile it
I'm hoping to not have to uninstall and install because the original
install hosed (replaced) a bunch of the config files, and I just got things
working.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA

Fred Herman
