As far as I can see, the machine 198.176.199.1 is not a name server at
all. Pointing nslookup to it does not return anything. Doing a telnet to
it present a prompt that looks much more like a router than an actual host
(I may be wrong here), since it request only a password and not a user id.
I suggest that you verify what is the actual DNS you must use. Doing
nslookup -q=ns iris.com
reports other DNSs which are answering requests. For sure, you are not
forced to use these DNSs (192.52.71.4 198.112.211.68 198.112.211.66). I
suggest you set your resolv.conf to point to one of those DNS to see how
things will go.
