Razzloss proposed the following answer:
For LinuxDC++ the settings are stored in $HOME/.dc++ (if you're using
the default build, can't remember if some distros moved the
settings...).
The settings can be copied, but the path references will be wrong so
you'll have to readd everything to share (and rehash)
