Please try the latest source to see if it fixes your issue since we
resolved a common freezing issue documented in bug #502673. We have
.debs in our PPA if you're on a debian-like distro. If that doesn't fix
it for you please disable Gnome accessibility as already mentioned. If
neither of those works for you, please feel free to reopen this bug.

Bug description:
I don't know if it's a graphical problem or not, but sometimes the whole
program-window turns white.
The only text I get from terminal when running it through that is
/home/kristoffer/.themes/Clearlooks-Vista/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:54: Clearlooks
configuration option "menuitemstyle" is not supported and will be ignored.
/home/kristoffer/.themes/Clearlooks-Vista/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:55: Clearlooks
configuration option "listviewitemstyle" is not supported and will be ignored.
/home/kristoffer/.themes/Clearlooks-Vista/gtk-2.0/gtkrc:56: Clearlooks
configuration option "progressbarstyle" is not supported and will be ignored.
