This should be on the Answers section & I want to put my take on this. Since you are using Windows 7 Professional, you should upgrade your client to the latest version of DC++ 0.75 & above. That version you are using is no longer getting any help support. It's like anti-virus you have to upgrade from time-to-time. Since you don't agree with some of the latest UI changes, I guess you want to dwell & live in the past.

I should proably also say that I "disabled" the version check by routing dcplusplus.sourceforge.net to localhost since there was no way to disable it in the Settings. All I know is that the intruction at 0x00459766 is TEST AL,AL but since it won't allow me to debug it (gets stuck) I don't know what it's supposed to compare.
