I don't think you addressed Razzloss' concern. What is your hub encoding set to? There is a global hub encoding in preferences and a per hub encoding in the favorite hubs tab. Make sure at least the per hub encoding is set to the appropriate encoding. If you don't set it properly then some characters may get dropped or replaced.
