DC++ deleted my dowloads folder during the upgrade

Bug description:
I'm not even sure if it's a bug though...
While I upgraded to 0.770 on my Windows XP SP3, DC++ deleted the whole 60gb
of the downloads folder, without asking me anything ;_;
Also I uninstalled a previous version so it might had something to do with
it.
Could this behavior be somewhat managed? Like asking if you wish to
delete your downloads folder during the uninstalling or upgrading
process?
