Hi. I'm Marcelo Magallon. I'm a member of the Costa Rica LUG. I
think our LUG will be interested in participating in this project,
but I won't know for sure until the end of the month (after our next
meeting). We have an InstallFest scheduled for early July, and
another one for early September, but I guess we could move that one a
bit and host it on the same day as the LDD.
Deepak, I guess your next message will address this, but what kind of
demos do you have in mind? I guess much of the attention will be
focused on desktop environments and lots of eye candy... I, for one,
would be much more interested in `what can I do with Linux' type of
things. X10 would be amazing to have, if the hardware is available.
Raytracing could draw some attention, too, provided some arts people
join the project. Clusters, too, if enough locals have experience
with them...
Cheers,
Marcelo
