$3300.
How many people are on this mailing list?
Divide by that number, add in an actually-paying compensation factor,
divide.
I'm certainly willing to pay *something* ... (not rich, though!)
Would $20 be useful? Would others be also willing?
The semi-voluntary ISP my email lives on (monkey.org) raised several
hundred dollars with $10 donations, and that's just a bunch of friends.
Stone Soup theory ...
Deepak - how many people are there on this list? Have you been slashdotted
yet? If not, it might be good to put in a non-whiny appeal there, pointing
out that this is a truly worthy effort. Heck, a few thousand slashdotters
participating will rule the world!
But post an address for mailing checks to; couldn't hurt.
