I asked earlier on this list if I should ask the LinuxWorld advisors
for free booth space at the expo for LDD. After getting replies that
LDD was still interested, and getting more details on what LDD would
do with that space, I sent an email last week to the LinuxWorld
advisory list.
Unfortunately, it turns out that while a 70' by 40' space had been
reserved for non-profits (the ".org pavilion"), that space had just
recently been closed out.
The chairman of LWCE, Charlie Greco, said they could check to see if
there was some of accommodating LDD. I asked that they do so, since
James Ray first contacted Jim Donovan of LWCE around June 10th, when
the pavilion was still open. I'm hoping that the fact that Jim Donovan
did not offer space to LDD in the .org pavilion at that time will
encourage them to do the right thing.
