Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)
Dear linuxers
We are now operating with a new address: append `in' to the list address:
email: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Our list is operating on a list management application called `Mailman', a
GPLed GNU application. It has many advanced features: digest mode,
non-digest mode, archiving, webbased access to archives, etc. It also checks
for spamming and I hope we will be less irritated now.
Things to remember:
All members must have got a password, so please record it somewhere.
You will be posted/reminded about the password by the Mailman once in every
month.
If your mailing address cannot be reached, and if Mailman gets more than
three bounces, such an address will be automatically unsubscribed.
If any of you want the digest mode, visit the site and change your options
appropriately.
Mails larger than 10k will go the mail admin for approval before being
posted to the members.
Since the list is freshly configured, and I am also using it for the first
time, there may be (I hope not) some problems. Please notify the problems
to me as soon as you detect them.
Now the changes are due for the website. Possibly after this sunday the
primary website will be up.
I hope this solves our problem.
