I want to add Java Servlet API support to my Apache Web Server.
To do that, I have to download a C source file, add it to my
Apache src directory, and re-compile Apache.
I have never compiled Apache, and my Linux is a new SuSE 6.3
installation. Should I go ahead and re-compile? I am scared that
in trying to add Java support, I might lose a lot of default
settings. Warnings? Suggestions? Tips? Of course, I will RMP and
read HOW-TOs right away.
