Actually, it was this line that I have a problem with. The other two were
to provide context.

Mouse works properly everywhere. I want to know what protocol error it
is. Does this mean that I have the wrong driver loaded? I have a
logitech mouse and I know that logitech does have a different protocol.
Any ideas?
