Hi all,
Minuteman Kishore Bhagwat was tied up and arrived
late at the meeting so I am substituting as
minuteman.
1) Kiran began with the Zope Tut (programming,
creating, uploading a website). Also demonstrated
Squishdot (slashdot lookalike) followed by Q&A.
2) Break for tea. Courtesy Dr. Mathews HOD
Computer dept. SNDT Juhu.
3) Kishore spoke on OSI layering and Frame
Relays. Included terminology and implications of
the technology, followed by Q&A.
4) Dr. Nagajuna put forward the HBCSE Gateway
conundrum which nobody could solve (refer to
earlier mails).
5) Registratration of our organisation FOST
(Foundation for Opensource Technologies) and
memorandum could not be discussed as soft copies
were recieved late. It was decided that the
memorundum and articles of association would be
posted on the list and discussed ASAP (hope to
have it up by the weekend).
Meeting was closed and dispersed.
I propose a vote of thanks to Dr. Mathews for the
facilities, Mr. Kiran Jonalgadda and Mr. Kishore
Bhagwat for their tutorials.
