Mail from ILUG-BOM list (Non-Digest Mode)

hi
i have a no of probs
1>when try to install linux from boot floppy get
error: initrd.img....
boot error.
2>connecting linux to win95 proxy
have setup nameserver gateway etc
get error: 1>nameserver not found
2>set SOCK_NS environ variable
please advice
