Point noted :-).
If U are doing the next pie-in-the-sky killer
app, u better use debian which is the only pure
opensource distro. Texas Instruments sued all the
Japanese, Taiwanese and Korean IC manufacturers
in 1990 for patent violation (30 yrs after the
original patent). The Japs et al were making ICs
and that was in itself a patent violation. The
processes were different, the designs were
different, infact there was nothing common
between the original patent and the current
products. The case was setteled out of court for
billions. TI used the money to leap frog DSP
development.
