That's what jaju said - the *front end* has been migrated. The back end,
which consists of a database of users and profiles and the email software is
still as before. They still use qmail, cause MS Exchange cannot handle the
load. Migration of the front end is no big deal. All they have to do is
get the new system online, update the dns, bring the old system offline, and
set the IP of the old system to the new system. That will ensure that dns
caches around the world do not cause a problem.
It will be harder to switch the back-end, because there will be a few
thousand transactions happening at all times.
BTW, when posting on news groups, post your reply /below/ the original
message. I don't know about you, but we humans tend to read from top to
bottom.
