Hi.
Transparent proxying has got nothing to do with squid as such. It is
kernel-level.
see the ipchains man pages (option REDIRECT) for details.
{ If you want to be future-ready ... read the manpage of iptables too.
Although, you need not worry about it right away ... that's for kernel
2.4.x, which has backward compatibility for ipchains too. }
Also, read the HOWTO (all of them are in /usr/doc/HOWTO if you have
installed them, else, install from the RPM files ... howto-6.xx,
howto-html-6.xx RPM files)
