Hi,

I was able to figure out how the "make uninstall" works ... the ./Makefile
normally needs a little tweaking as well as those that may be present at
further depths in the source directory.

There is a complete guide on everything you might want to know about rpm at
<http://rpmdp.org/rpmbook/> That's the "RPM Documentation Project". Now I
know my way around spec-files very well, but it took quite while to realise
that all the files put around by "make install" have to be explicitly
mentioned in the spec-file in order to create an rpm. It seems that the
only way to do that is manually inspecting the Makefiles and creating a
list of all the files.

FYI: Since nobody was able to tell me, the mozilla-devel is available at

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/eazel/nautilus/RPMS/i386/pr1/mozilla-devel-M17-2.i3
86.rpm

Sameer.
