Hi Folks
Has anyone configured ext2 access from a windows NT 4.0 server? I recently
found this url http://www.chat.ru/~ashedel/ext2fsnt/ext2fsnt.rar that has a
package (free) which helps one to configure ext2 read-write access from
Windows NT 4.0 systems. Once you download the package it has a few files
including the readme which has sparse exaplanation :-( about how to
configure the system running NT4.0. The readme file instructs the user to
edit the 'go.cmd' batch file after the previous mentioned steps in the
readme have been completed succesfully. Now the actual problem is that when
editing the go.cmd file, a reference that is pointing to the linux partition
on the hard disk has to inputted and the file says
------------
rem
rem link linux partition to Win32 namespace
rem you should EDIT line below to point to correct partition.
rem

rem dosdev /a E: \Device\Harddisk0\Partition2
------------
I have a problem understanding what this 'win32 namespace' actually is and
how do i type it inside the go.cmd file?
The following are the requisite specs of the system
RH 6.1
hda1 = fat16 (winnt)
hda5 = NTFS
hda6 = Linux native
hda7 = linux swap

can anyone help me out as to how can i incorporate the win32 namespace ?
regards
Dharmesh
