Something was suspicious about it. Unfortunatley I deleted it. Anyone got
a copy with intact headers? Please forward.

According to the same laws, email messages may be digitally signed so that
they are legally binding. The message in question was not, AFAIR.

>"No crime because no one told me it is a crime!"

Sorry, that doesn't hold in a court of law. No, I, too, don't like it.

Can the LUG or ilug-india do anything re portscans and non-illegal uses? I
know it's difficult to differentiate, for example, portscans with
malicious intent from those without. But I'm sure an experienced sysadmin
can tell the difference. For example, a few pings are probably harmless. A
ping flood is of course malicious.

And if VSNL is so dead-set on laws, why the heck don't they check the spam
situation? Anyone else getting spammed by DMAI?
