well... there's ldir and lread which list directories, and read (text)
files, respectively. i forget where... oh wait, i found the lsm entry.
here's an extract:
Primary-site:   sunsite.unc.edu /pub/Linux/system/filesystems/ext2
                lread-2.3.zip
                lread-2.3.lsm
