I thought we had those utilities in rh 5.2 as well ...
Still the filesystem is mounted using smbfs which is part of the smb
implementation which has the bug ...
My mail was a measure of caution for the group which involves SMB which is
used by all ..
Just a matter of concern ...
According to me smbmount,smbumount mount the drives which show up  using
smbfs in the mount command
Correct me if i'm wrong ;-)
