Well the fact is that the PPP-HOWTO doesnt seem pretty easy. I have also been trying to configure ppp dialin on my comp just out of curiosity. But the HOWTO is so mysterious in itself, that I cant make much out of it. Although there are tips about what files to modify, the ppp itself isnt explained much. I mean, you cant really have an idea about what is exactly happening when you make certain changes, or how the pppd and other processes work. As of now, I am waiting for some good samaritan to turn up who can show me exactly how it is done and exactly what happens when we "do it". But that doesnt mean I have stopped working on it altogether, I have just ... slowed down or more like "bogged down" by difficulties that shouldnt actually be there. Sameer.
