hi, the binaries and docs for the Time synchronization comes as a standard package along with RedHat distridutions. You can just install the RPM and start the xntpd daemon. The config files are /etc/ntp.conf and /etc/ntp/* The RPM file name in RH5.2 is "xntp3-5.93-4.i386.rpm" This works fine and you do not have to compile anything. We are using this to sync the server time on diff. servers. this is the out of box soln. for time sync. You may also take a look at timed. regards Binny
