Uninstall kaffe
# rpm -e kaffe
Install jdk 1.1.6 ??
# rpm -i <jdk-rpm>
Yes, u could run both of them together...install one in some users home
directory...this is the simplest way..
To have all users use both, u will need to do some juggling
ciao for now,
Amit

Then Why dis chip take the trouble of providing it? They have wasted
precious space. In its stead they could have given something else?
Please can you tell me how to uninstall Kaffe and install JDK from CHIP CD
(can they both run at the same time?) Set classpath, path etc. In short
please tell me how this installating and un-installing of an app. work in
linux.
Thankx in advance
N S.
