A Query

I have RedHat Linux 5.2 and the jvm that comes with cdrom. Initially
the  java was working fine but lately after running the java and javac
commands the system returns an error message "Segmentation Fault".

I have reinstalled the kaffee from the cdrom again but to no success.

A few days ago the linux machine was not shutdown properly and I had to
run the fsck command to rectify the hda1. Do the java problems have
anything to do with it.

Please help as soon as possible.
