>(v)erify it with fdisk. and give details, like the following gpm from my

When I select fdisk at the time of installation I get the following error
message
=======
This is the fdisk program ........... It is running on /dev/hdb
The number of cylinders for this disk is set to 8354
This is larger than 1024, and may cause problems with
1) S/w that runs at boot time (Eg LILO)
2) booting and partioning from other O/s's Eg DOS FDISK , OS/2 FDISK)
Command (m for help)
========
My HDD is 4.3 GB and in the CMOS setup I have set it up for Auto detection
When I run FDISK on my other HDD which is running Win95 FAT32 I get C/H/S as
524/255/63
which is guess is what I should also be geting on my 2nd HDD in order for
things to work.
I tried changing the no of C/H/S by using the xpert option of fdisk, but
after I write the table to disk and
again run fdisk, I get the same error message as above.
When I run command p in fdisk I get the following
==========
Disk /tmp/hdb; 16 heads, 63 sectors, 8354 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 1008 * 512 bytes
Device Boot .......................
==========
I havent tried to install Win95 on this HDD, but did get it to format
earlier in DOS. So I dont think it is a
HDD hardware problem. The only other thing is that I had WinNT installed on
this disk earlier.
Thanks
Shahed.
