I am planning to upgrade my existing 486, with the following -
1. AMD K6-2 350 MHz
2. ASUS P5A with onboard soundcard ESS solo (will the soundcard work ??)
Here is its rating in linux hardware database -

4. VGA card - Please suggest (Budget- Upto Rs.3500-4000)
Has anybody used ASUS P5A motherboard ?
