Problem With Linux 5.0

Dear Sir

we are  facing following problem with Linux 5.0

1.What is default  login with Linux 5.00 as root is not accepting.

2.My sis display card giving for display problem.

3.While formating Linux 6.00 from Windows 95, it gives problem of Lock some
partion How I can retrive this partion.
