Hi there ,
Wine as far as my understanding goes uses a subset of the Win32 system
calls to evoke the corresponding O.S based calls inside a separate virtual
machine. Since only a subset of the calls are implemented the applications
that run on it are limited. Dunno much about the added implementation in the
newer versions as I had used an older one.
Anyone else on the list would like to clarify..
