Dear LUG member,

Do you have experience in installing Linux ? Can you fix a X-Server with
only your left hand ?
We need your help! Please read on...........

Background:
The ACM (Association Of Computing Machinery) Mumbai Chapter,
www.acm.org/chapters/ intends to hold a hands-on workshop on Linux. The date
has now been fixed as:

Date: Sunday, October 10th, 1999
Time: 2 to 5 pm
Venue: Fr Agnel, with 6 PCs.

The workshop is aimed at people who have heard about Linux and want to
experiment. It's for ppl who are daunted by the task of installing Linux.
It's for ppl who have tried to install Linux (maybe an old PCQ CD) and
failed.

What you have to do:
We need people who are willing to instruct others on installing Linux. Like
most ACM workshops this workshop is also free, so don't expect to be paid.
We are looking for people who have some experience in installing Linux.
Experience with configuring and fixing X-Servers, networking, sound etc is
critical.

You will be training members of the student chapters. These ppl will in-turn
be able to train the others in their respective colleges. (Don't worry, You
need to spend at the most 3 - 4 hours)
