Hi,
My friend is using an Intel 440 BX 2 motherboard running PII 400. I
have noticed that for both Win98/Linux the modem busy lights are on by
default. Only while booting do the lights disappear to normal on the modem.
The same doesn't happen in Linux. So maybe something to be fixed in the
BIOS. The BIOS is a pain in the butt. Some jumpers have to be reversed to
open it.
