Nagarjun also does not have a fixed IP address . as a matter of fact no one
has a fixed ip address if he uses a dialup unless he has influence in the
ISP's office.
What IP address nagarjun in refering to is the server IP address and not the
dynamic address assigned to you
the o/p of the ipconfig command will reveal .. if you dialup and connect to
a server the client i.e ur address changes but the address of the server
does not change as it is a point to point link
Inet addr is your address .. the PTP address will always remain same which I
presume is the router address which may be specific to a number or a set of
servers
Try it out and send the comments to the list
