You may encounter problems. However you may be able to run the linuxconf
and change the settings again. Don't go to graphics runlevel, use
Xconfigurator on the new machine and then switch to the graphics runlevel.
If the network card is different specify the difference in the conf.modules
or configure it using linuxconf.
If I were in your place I will first boot the system on the new machine in
the single user mode, complete all the configuration, and then change the
runlevel.
