There were a set of scripts which were made by a fellow linux .. was it
sudhakar .. he had also made rpm's of them ..
Dunno the url though .. another alternative .. I had installed diald quite
some time back . just untar the package and there is a sample chat script ..
change the username / password and the expect string which is "~"
and then save the script with superuser acl's only and use it with a cron
.. or whatever ...
Also u can try wvdial which we tried at the last meet in dinesh's place ..
Another choice ( only if you have a 2.2 kernel ) is a pppdemand option ...
Nagarjun has done this setup .. I guess NAG post a detailed mail on this to
the list .. too many queries in this direction
