hii
i have a trident 3dimage975 and a samtron 5ei 15" monitor.
I have it working perfectly in 800 x 600 and 1024 x 760
is there any way to disable the virtual screen at 800 x 600 or ant command
to set virtaul screen to 800 x600 .
Also i am having this power management problem.....
if i leave my monitor on..... with no screen saver..
after some time of no activity.... the monitor blanks out.... and even the
yellow light which flashes in standby mode goes OFF.
if i remover monitor power aND plug it back in still monitor is OFF and no
blinking light /stand by or anything
i can halt machine by exiting X by ctrl alt backspace
and typing halt
Then if i switch on and off the mains , the monitor works as normal
Any suggestions???
any explainations?
