hi, Im pretty new to Linux and have taken a few steps which have landed me in a mess. I had reinstalled Windows after loding Linux. My LILO boot loader is gone. How do I get it working again. I do have the Boot disk which does let me get into Linux. I have problems running the GNOrpm utility too. It crashes every time I run it. What could be the possible solution I had loaded Licq which is also not working. The conf file is not in proper condition. What is the remedy? I have a SB 16 that is not detected in Linux. Nor is my Printer working. How do I get these to work. I had a 4X CDrom drive which I upgraded to 48X a few days back. The system has detected the drive but I am not able to run my Cd's from it.
