I finally bought a S3 Trio 3D/2X. It gives a resolution of 1024x768 at 24
bit under both Linux and Win95. I went in for a whole new system so I can't
tell you the price of the card itself. I tried figuring out how to make the
spitfire card work but gave up after about six months and got a new system.
