Hi vishal well what I ment to say was that when mounted my floppy and typed df it showed me the correct information as to how much disk space is used in the floppy where as although my c drive has 1.7 GB (of 4 GB ) of free space it says it is full. my c drive is FAT32 file system and hence in my fstab file I have mentioned vfat fs for mounting my windows partition.
