| can't be done. pine reads directly from /var/spool/mail/$USER
| It will not read mail from any other place. You will have to use
| fetchmail to get the mail from the pop3/imap server and then you can use
| pine to read it. alternatively, use mutt.
Actually, you can. I don't remember exactly how, but you need to specify
something like "hostname:foldername" for IMAP folders. IIRC, PINE cannot get
a list of IMAP folders, but can read from the folders that you tell it.
