| Should I upgrade from RH6 to RH6.1? Should I leave well enough alone?
| Should I get SuSe or Debian instead? Should I wait for RH6.1++ ?

Hi Satya
There should be no wars rregarding techie opinions in the first place.
RH 6.0 does a huge amount of hardware probing this was stopped in RH6.1.
I have heard that the upgrade goes smooth. But you will have to and anyway
should back up your Config file. Few changes in the config files
need to be made in the few files like conf.modules. Becoz the 6.1 loads
hardware modules as they are detected. Printers are not detected
until you mention it's entry in conf.modules.

| Factors affecting answer: I have 6.0. It's working. "If it ain't broke,
| don't fix it.". I don't have a Linux CD at all, so can't currently
| upgrade/replace_broken_stuff/reinstall, must get new CD. I want an upgrade
| which will slide in neatly without me having to fix too much stuff.
|

Although I feel if you have a network running on 6.0 the upgrade might come
out to be a tedious task.
If you are somewhere near Juhu I could lend you the PCQ CD myself.

regards
Aditya
