Whoa. I tried sendmail -bs in my perl prog, and it sorta worked. but it
gave a lot of 'command unrecognized' errors... I think I blew past
sendmail's stdin buffer. It seems to work, though.
When I use sendmail -t, it's the now-familiar "Sender domain must exist",
said by the receiving domain (eg. ilug-bom.org)
The above two paras outline my original problem.
When I use pine, I don't tell it the user-domain. However, pine is
supposed to masquerade, and it does... converting localhost,
hal9k.myip.org, or whatever today's domain is, to bom2.vsnl.net.in
