I am trying to convince my boss to install Linux of the mainframe too in a
separate LPAR (logical partition) !!!

I am dreaming of the day when I will IPL (boot) Linux on the console of our
mainframe....   :-)

     Agree. My point is that this move of IBM is more interesting
than selling Linux in some machines (although it is also good). I have
heard jfs is quite a good file system, so I will try it out some time.
If any one has experience with this or a fs other than ext2 (ext3, xfs,
reiserfs), please let me know. I have to set up some big web server,
around 5GB, and I would like a file system that recovers nicely, in case
of a crash.
