Dear Linuxers,
I am here in bangalore writing to you about the bang linux conference,
it has been a great show which ended today.I had an opportunity to meet the best of
the people form all over the linx community.
And it was also very exhausting.the show was very succesfull.in terms of no of people
present and the various speakers who were around.Our parent lug Linux-India also had a
major presence at the expo.
I personally met Mr.Richard Stallman asked him to come to mumbai.
He has agreed to be there somewhere in april/may.when he is scheduling a visit to
mumbai.he has asked me to be in touch via email which i shall do.
i have been co-ordinating the suse stall at the show.There were some people from suse
who were really wonderfull.and have donated a set of CDS for our LUG which i will be
distributing as soon as ireach mumbai, to all the lug members.
they will also be sending beta copies for eval. by the lug members and necessary
feedback.
i also met the Caldera,TurboLinux,RedHat People they have also agreed to help the LUG
with cds and other Goodies.
All this has been some major achievements for the LUG.
Will Write back when i get back to mumbai...Pretty exhausted at the moment.....sigh
