After our discussion today, this is what we hit upon.   Among the
speakers, Seshan, Parag and Rasane were not present for this meeting so
please check this schedule and tell me if it is okay for you'll.


Mon 13 March:

Nagarjuna
- What is Linux.  Linux Philosophy.  Diff b/w GNU and Linux.

Aditya Kulkarni
- Linux Installation (lecture and demo on projector).

Tue 14 March:

Afternoon, lab session on installation.  Depending on how many machines we
have, we can have a few groups of people that actually do hands on
installation.

Amol is one of the persons handling this.  Sushil, will you be able to
attend the lab session on 14th?

- How mail works in general,  sendmail

Wed 15 March:

Lab:
Practice using different mail clients, also telnet smtp, telnet pop.
We will also do ftp and http in this session.

- Programming issues 
  (what will this cover? I think the fact that many tools exist to aide
  the developer.  Can be done in 15 minutes or scrapped altogether.)

Kiran
- Shell programming 
  If you can't make it for this day, can you atleast get me some docs and
  I will cover it.

Philip
- Perl programming

Aditya (if you make it on the 15th)
- C programming
Otherwise, Sushil, you will have to do this too.

- Gtk programming

- How to become a hacker


Thu 16th March:

Lab session: 
- Sample programs, using devp tools.  (We have to prepare
  some good problems here)

Samba, XWin32, VNC demo and user problems.

We need more people to help out with the practical sessions.  I am not
sure if I will be able to make it every afternoon so we will have to take
turns.

Everyone, please confirm again, especially those who weren't present
today.

Prakash, confirm if you can get CDs, T-Shirts, Caps etc to be sold at the
venue.
